I have a sever MCS and EMF sensitivy and, after 5 years of research about material and methods, I was able to build a BioCamper, a safe camper. It is still not perfect 100% for my sensitivities, but it’s better than sleeping in a car. I would like to share my experience with the students and designers involved in this project. Julie and Julie,
Congradulations for getting together this wonderful site, it has been in my dreams for the last 10 years.
I have moved over 15 times and been homeless in my car for more than 7 mo. at a time looking for safe housing. Living now in semi tollerable house but not permanent.
I am trying to form a community out here in Washington St. and would like to talk to you about approaching an architectural school.
What a great idea.! The State is being very progressive right now so I need to jump at this chance and would like your input. Please contact me backchannel….
There are a couple of Pre-Fab builders here, speaking with one I see a tough road ahead because it is all about the money .
Now , if I can just get the students to build a healthy Eco Villiage 🙂 lol.

    Hi Catherine,
Kudos for all you are doing to help solve this problem. We are thrilled to have you on board and we would love to hear about your plans for forming a community in your area. We will definitely be in touch again soon. I got a little distracted by severe weather problems here in the MW!
    warm wishes,

    Dear MCS Friends,
I have found a 70 acre parcel already short-platted for 14 sites- this could be the foundation for an Eco-Village here in the State of Washington in the North Kitsap Peninsula, which has very clean air- even cleaner than Bainbridge Island. It was originally offered for one million, and now is down to $590k; perhaps it could be negotiated down further. We need eco-villages all over the United States. Anyone know an investor we could turn to? Best wishes to all of you.

Hello, looking for a place to relocate from Southern California.
I live in a resident-owned mobile home park and would love to move to an environment where people are like-minded regarding attempting to live in a less toxic way.

    Thank you for any information.
