Donation Options

There are several ways you can contribute financially to help re|shelter fulfill it’s mission.

Make a general contribution to re|shelter: Write a check out to re|shelter or transfer funds for any amount through our PayPal account, and we will decide how to best appropriate your donation. To earmark funds toward a specific re|shelter project, include a note with your donation as to which project you’d like to contribute to.

We will send you an electronic receipt for your tax-deductible contribution once we receive 501(c)3 status.*

Make an automatic monthly contribution** to re|shelter: Set up a PayPal subscription agreement for $5/month* so that you can help those in need consistently throughout the year. PayPal will automatically bill you for $5 each month until you cancel your subscription with them.

Set up a PayPal subscription agreement for $10/month* – you can even let us know what projects you’d like your funds to be used for. PayPal will automatically bill you for $10 each month until you cancel your subscription with them.

Set up a PayPal subscription agreement for $20/month*. PayPal will automatically bill you for $20 each month until you cancel your subscription with them.

Set up a PayPal subscription agreement for $50/month* to help re|shelter fulfill its important mission. PayPal will automatically bill you for $50 each month until you cancel your subscription with them.

*Note: When we are approved for 501(c)3 status, contributions made in June 2010 going forward will be tax deductible retroactively.

**You can cancel your re|shelter monthly donation subscription through PayPal at any time. Just log into your PayPal account and cancel your subscription service. Please contact PayPal directly (re|shelter does not have access to your account) if you have any problems canceling your subscription.

• Become a Shelter Angel: Donate directly to individuals in need of housing support through our Shelter Angels Network Effort (SANE). Contributions through SANE do not go through re|shelter and are therefore not tax deductible. coming soon…
• Remember re|shelter in your will: Leave all or part of your estate to re|shelter in the event of your death.
